About BluPrnts & Mia

What is BluPrnts?

BluPrnts is a property-maintenance coordination platform. Our AI coordinator, Mia, helps property managers request work, get quotes, dispatch a qualified vendor, and track the job to completion — all over text, voice, or the web.

Is Mia a real person?

Mia is an AI assistant, not a human. She handles most requests automatically, but a real person is available when you need one. Because Mia is automated she may occasionally get something wrong — important steps like approving a quote are always under your control, and you can ask for a human anytime.

Who performs the actual repairs?

The work is performed by independent, vetted vendors — not by BluPrnts directly. We coordinate the job, screen vendors for licensing and insurance, and help if something goes wrong, but the trades work is done by the independent vendor assigned to your job.

For Property Managers

How does it work?

Text or message Mia with what you need. Mia gathers the details (often with a photo), gives you a quote, and — once you approve — dispatches a vendor and keeps you updated through completion.

How are quotes determined?

Quotes are generated from our pricing engine based on the job type, scope, and details you provide. They are good-faith estimates and can change if the vendor finds different conditions on site. Any additional work is sent to you for approval first (except in a genuine emergency to prevent harm or damage).

Are the vendors licensed and insured?

We screen vendors for the licenses and insurance required for the work they offer, and re-check periodically. You can ask us for details on a specific vendor.

How do I pay, and is it secure?

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You authorize charges for the jobs and fees you approve and can see charges in your account. We don't store full card numbers ourselves.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

Tell us as soon as possible. Vendors stand behind their workmanship per the warranty shown for the job, and we'll help facilitate a fix, re-service, or other resolution.

For Vendors

How do I join?

Apply through our vendor onboarding. We'll verify your license, insurance, and identity, and once approved you'll start receiving job offers you can accept or decline.

Am I an employee of BluPrnts?

No. Vendors are independent contractors who run their own businesses, set their own schedules, use their own tools, and can work with other customers. You receive a 1099, not a W-2.

How and when do I get paid?

You're paid the amount in the job offer, less the platform service fee, through our processor after the job is completed and approved — typically within [X] business days. You're responsible for your own taxes.

Texts, Calls & Privacy

Will I get text messages, and how do I stop them?

Yes — BluPrnts uses SMS, voice, and AI messages to coordinate jobs and your account. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of non-essential texts or HELP for help. Opting out of operational messages may limit the service.

How is my data and privacy handled?

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, including rights available to California residents under the CCPA/CPRA. We use reasonable safeguards and share information only as needed to provide the service.

What about emergencies?

Mia is not for life-safety emergencies. For fire, gas leaks, medical emergencies, or other danger, call 911. For urgent property issues, use the emergency/priority option in the app or contact [emergency line].
